Drove to Edinboro for the solar eclipse. John's is right next to the parking lot we found. Got the chicken tenders and fries and sat outside to view the eclipse. The food was good, service was excellent and John is just genuinely a nice guy!

After being on the road for 5+ hours heading to Edinboro my family, asked for pizza for dinner so, knowing John's as our go to during my college days I suggested we head there. The atmosphere was usual pizza shop decor along with usual signage. John's has moved more to take out than eat in, however they do offer 2 tables inside along with a few outside. However, at the time of the review the bathrooms were closed off which made it very difficult for our group. Suffice to say we decided to stay and grab something to eat. We ordered a chicken hoagie, Pepperoni and Banana Pepper Pizza, Chicken fingers and fries, a side a fries, garlic bread sticks and buffalo wings. The Chicken Hoagie arrived first and was excellent, my daughter loved the flavors and presentation. Then came the pizza, chicken fingers, fries and garlic bread shortly followed by the wings. The pizza was pipping hot, with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, pepperoni and banana peppers. It could have cooked a bit longer in the oven to crisp up and cook the dough a little more, but otherwise an excellent pizza. The chicken fingers with waffle fries and accompanying sauces were golden brown and delicious and shared by all. The honey mustard and ranch dressings were as good as I remember but probably Ken's or a similar brand. The garlic bread was cooked to perfection and actually first item eaten by everyone, receiving top billing. As for the wings my other daughter and son said they were good but at the end of the meal the few left were tossed instead of taken to the cottage for a snack. All in all a good time getting together with the family over a some pretty good food. Had the bathrooms been operational, and the pizza cooked a bit longer this would have certainly been a 5 star review. As it is, 4 stars is highly respectable and I do recommend Johns if you are in the mood for good pizza, excellent garlic bread, but the draw for me was and still is the way they make and serve up their hoagies. You can't go wrong with Hoagies from John's!

Best pizza in Edinboro‍ Not a long wait time and just the right amount of cheese, sauce and bread on each bite. Toppings are cheap and add great value to the pizza here :)

Been a John's fan since the early 80s. Still great but just cooked a little too long.

Any time you go to Edinboro, it is not a complete trip if you do not stop at John's for some pizza and chicken fingers and fries! There is more than enough food in the serving size of both the chicken and the fries. They have the best honey mustard sauce. The people working were so friendly and chatted with us while we were waiting. The place has also been completely remodeled (they had a fire awhile back) and looks great! The only downfalls were that the restrooms were closed and it was homecoming weekend so if you didn't want to go to one of the bars and just wanted to eat at John's, you had to find somewhere to use a restroom and also there was only outdoor seating so we had to eat in our car because if we ate outside the food would have been cold in a few minutes.

This place rocks!!!!! The best pizza and that's a fact Jack! I found this place in 1994 when I lived in the area and then I'm up from South Carolina it's a must. My daughters yell for Johnny's and my wife is a closet Johnny fan. She claims she doesn't like it, I find her eating cold Wildwood's at 2:00 am. If you need want a beyond "The Best Pizza in the Universe" go to Johnny's!
